Prayaas India organises Blood Donation cum Blood Identification Camp twice every year. The donars include students,proffesor of BIT Sindri as well as the local people.
Prayaas India team has been awarded by the District Collector of Dhanbad for the highest number of blood units Donated from an Organization (108 units) in one session and 75 units in single day in Jharkhand. In the past, we have broken all the records by any Institution with the donation 305 units in a single day.
Blood donation is one of the most significant contribution that a person can make towards the society.Human life is priceless and thus to make sure that not a single life is lost due to blood shortage, take a positive initiative towards donating blood and give someone the blessing of life.
One Donation can save 3 lives
Male Doner can give blood every 3 month while woman doner can give blood every 4 month. Platelet doner can give every 7 days.
More than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day
Bloods cannot be manufactured It can come from Donation only.
